The Minister of Agriculture Md. Abdur Razzaq urged the graduates of science and technology universities to prepare themselves by expressing optimism that Bangladesh will become a developed country before the desired time as a result of increasing investment in the education sector and providing fellowships. .

Addressing the third convocation of Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology in Tangail, the minister urged students to be skilled human resources and said that the role of skilled human resources is the most important in the overall development of a country in the present world. In a country like ours where natural resources are very limited, skilled human resources are even more important. Youth are the great strength and real wealth of our country. The current government is also working relentlessly to harness the power of this youth. In this reality, students need to be developed through practical and timely learning. The graduates of science and technology universities of the country have to prepare themselves. Teachers should also come forward in this regard.

On Sunday morning, the Agriculture Minister presided over the convocation and awarded degrees on behalf of the President and Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology Chancellor Md. Abdul Hamid. Valerie Anne Taylor, founder and coordinator of CRP Bangladesh was the valedictory speaker on the occasion. University Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Farhad Hossain delivered the welcome speech.

The minister said that the current government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has invested heavily in improving the quality of education, building infrastructure, and achieving excellence in research in the past 14 years and has implemented various education-friendly measures. A large number of fellowships are being awarded to encourage students in research. I believe this huge investment in the education sector will make the country a developed nation before the desired time.

Commenting that Awami League has no option but to make Bangladesh a developed and prosperous country by 2041, this presidium member of Awami League said that the Pakistani rulers had made arrangements so that Bengalis could not stand tall in independent Bangladesh. Apart from infrastructural destruction, they killed intellectuals, the nation's priceless asset. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave utmost importance to the spread of science and technology based education in the country to move the nation forward from such a fragile state.

In the context of food safety Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak said, the food security of billions of people worldwide is at extreme risk due to the impact of Covid-19, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, and the blockade-reciprocal blockade. Global 'food insecurity' has increased. The number of hungry people has increased. But the timely action of the current government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made it possible to ensure the food and nutritional security of the people of Bangladesh and Bangladesh has emerged as a role model for agricultural development in the world despite multifaceted disasters.

Earlier, the Agriculture Minister participated in the convocation procession on behalf of the Chancellor and inaugurated the convocation.
